This wonderful book takes us on a tale with little Emer, who doesn’t like it when she’s teased for having brown skin and fuzzy hair. She just wishes she could look like everyone else. But with a little help from mum, Emer soon learns that we’re all the same but different – and life is better that way! The importance of seeing yourself in a book, even as a child can’t be underestimated.
It is a marvellous tool to not only educate our youth on the importance of inclusion but also the awareness that we all have our differences and that is our “Super Power!”
