Back to School is looming but there’s still time to have some fun before the summer holiday finishes. Here are 10 fun things to do with your child before school starts:

#1. Make Some Ice Cream

Try making some home made icecream together. You don’t need an ice cream maker, here are some fun ice cream recipes to try.

#2. Play some mini golf

If you don’t have a mini golf near you then check for driving ranges or pitch n putt courses. Or set up mini golf in your back garden with plastic cups and balls. (You can have the cups on their side if you don’t want to sink them)

#3. Water Fun

Head to an outdoor pool while it’s still warm weather. Or why not try a new water sport like kayaking or surfing for a change. Be careful around water (read tips for water safety for kids) and don’t forget the talc if you’re heading to the beach. Here is our handy beach checklist to save you going back to the house 10 times.

#4. Visit an Old Person

Arrange to stop in and visit an old person. Maybe there’s a nursing home nearby or an elderly neighbour. Perhaps they could benefit from a lift to the grocery store or medical appointment. Encourage your child to ask them about their past life and find out more about what life was like many years ago.

#5. Make Super Bubbles
