Where is Enniscrone?
Situated near the county border with Mayo, just 10 km from Ballina and 56km from Sligo, the town’s location makes it the perfect base for exploring the beautiful landscapes counties Sligo and Mayo have to offer.
There’s also an 18 hole championship golf course, seaweed baths and plenty of activities for the kids.
And the 5km sandy beach is perfect for walking, exploring, paddling or even horse riding.

Enniscrone Beach and Pier
A blue flag beach, Enniscrone is one of the safest and tidiest beaches along the west coast of Ireland, which stretches for an amazing 5km. The beach is ideal for walking and running, as well as relaxing in the sun and children playing in the sand.
The waters are safe for swimming and very popular for surfing. Surf lessons are available from two local surf schools. Other activities include kite surfing and beach fishing, as well as horse riding and the annual horse racing event.
The pier is a popular area in Enniscrone especially during the summer months for swimming and diving because of the deep water and the shelter from the waves. The pier is also a popular fishing spot at high tides.
