Best Child Friendly Restaurants in Clare

Are you looking for child friendly restaurants in Clare ? There are so many great restaurants in Clare to choose from, but the problem often for parents is which one will cater for all of the family. In no particular order, here’s the Mykidstime Best Child Friendly Restaurants in Clare.

A lot of the restaurants may have small dining rooms and will not look too kindly on bringing buggies into them, some may even refuse you entry! Where possible bring along a car booster seat or simply ask if the restaurant has an available baby seat. Here’s what we think makes a Restaurant Child Friendly

#1. Bagel Factory, Abbey Street Car Park, Ennis. Tel: 065 6822848

Soups, salads, bagel sandwiches, coffees and smoothies. A nice place to stop for a drink or have a late breakfast or lunch. This has something to please everyone in my family. They even have my son’s favorite, peanut butter and jam bagel. It’s along the river and they have outdoor seating in the summer. Baby seats available.

#2. Mac’s Bar, Bunratty

Visit Mac’s Pub which forms part of the visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Here you will enjoy wholesome good food and beverages in a relaxed and authentically 19th century atmosphere. The Folk Park offers you an experience of a living reconstruction of the homes and environment of Ireland of over a century ago. Set on 26 acres, the impressive park features over 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting. Mac’s opens from 10.30am – 5.30 p.m. daily through peak season

Yummy pub food with friendly atmosphere. The menu has the normal kid meal options plus 1/2 portion of roast of the day. Free baby bowl of mash with gravy or soup. The kids always get treated with lollies hidden behind the bar.

#3. Gallagher’s Seafood Restaurant & J.P. Clarke’s Country Pub.

Each has its own character – Gallagher’s thatched restaurant specializes in seafood while J.P Clarke’s is a rustic pub with a few different choices on the menu. Both have delicious, award winning food and great service.

#12. Milano Ennis, 11 O’Connell Street, Ennis

Italian fare with tasty children’s menu, coloring activities for kids, and baby change facilities. They also provided paper chef hats to the kids which surprisingly entertained my kids for quite a while. My kids loved the food and the bambinoccino at the end of the meal was a big hit.
