French Easter Programmes for Children & Teenagers

Every school holiday the Alliance Française organises activities in French for primary and secondary level students.

Workshops for 4-6  &  7-10 yrs 10th – 12th April 

Your children will discover the magic of springtime through activities focusing on nature and plants. Gardening, chocolate and Easter eggs are to be expected! The classes will be led by our qualified native-French teachers. Please note that lunch à la française is included in the price! All children are welcome, regardless of their level of French. Workshops for Junior & Leaving Cert Students 10th – 12th April 

The Alliance Française organises intensive courses for Leaving Cert & Junior Cert students preparing to sit their French Oral examination. While we try to keep this holiday programme as lively and fun as possible, and its content is directly designed to meet the requirements of the certificates’ syllabus and includes a Mock exam. Course runs from 1pm – 4pm each day. Cost is €110  –  Booking

Kids French Courses Dublin

The Alliance Française’s award-winning programmes for Toddlers and Children are available for every age, from 12 months to 12 years old, and levels, from complete beginners to bilingual, throughout the year: 16 week terms, one-off workshops, holiday camps, summer activities and more!

The cutting-edge programme for toddlers and parents “A Petits Pas” has received the prestigious European Language Label. The Award, coordinated by the European Commission and Léargas, rewards outstanding improvement in the quality of language teaching and learning.

Teens French Courses Dublin

Teenagers aren’t left aside with French Courses in Dublin designed to complement classes attended at secondary school, one-off workshops, holiday camps, summer activities, debating competitions in French and, of course, specialised preparation for students in Junior & Leaving Certificates. In contrast to most institutes in Dublin, the Alliance Française take no more than 16 students per group to ensure the best learning experience for all.

All the classes are harmonised with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages so that children have the option of taking the exams of the DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) Primaires & Juniors the official diploma valid for life and internationally recognised.

The Alliance Française Dublin employs and trains the best native French teachers in Ireland, all qualified and experienced in classes with minors for which they are Garda-vetted. They focus on interests and topics relevant to the participants’ age while following the requirements of the syllabus.

The Alliance Française is also open to the public where the young ones can immerse themselves in the French language and culture whether it’s simply having a snack in our French café/restaurant La Cocotte or using the newly refurbished facilities of the French Library, a state-of-the-art, multiform space with physical and digital collections and a dedicated “Children’s Corner”.

In Your Child’s School

The Alliance Française Dublin is uniquely placed to provide Primary and Secondary Schools with French language training and activities. One or several of our qualified French native-speaking teachers can lead courses, fun activities or cultural workshops and/or presentations during school hours or after-school. Contact your child’s School PTA or us directly to set up these activities that will give a head start to your child in his/her future education.
