What CMRF Crumlin Do
Research and Equipment
The charity CMRF Crumlin was originally set up to provide vital funding to paediatric research, which was and remains underfunded globally.
This is an area which is considered a beacon of hope to hundreds of thousands of families who face weeks, months and often years of disruption and challenges due to childhood illness, disease or disability right across the world.
Research is a global effort to find better treatments and cures, management and preventative strategies.
Critical Support to Sick Children
Every year at least 150,000 children attend Crumlin for critical care and support. Many in an ambulance needing urgent treatment, some with serious long-term conditions and complex care needs. All of whom receive the very best care, giving them the very best chance of getting better and thriving.
CMRF Crumlin provide critical supports and funding to sick children from all over Ireland who attend CHI at Crumlin for diagnosis, treatment, and care on their patient journey. Every single child attending receives extraordinary care.
As we all know COVID 19 has impacted all of us – and for CMRF Crumlin it has meant the cancellation of many fundraising events, which has meant less money is coming in to support the ongoing work in the hospital.
Now more than ever our little heroes need your support.
How You Can Help CMRF Crumlin Care for Little Heroes
In order to support the hospital, staff, research, the families and most of all, the children who attend the hospital, CMRF Crumlin need to keep raising funds. And to do that they rely on the continued support of people around Ireland and the world.
They do whatever it takes for some of Ireland’s sickest children and with your help will continue to support parents and families from around the country and improve the lives of sick children.
There are many ways you can help, from organising your own fundraising initiative (in person or virtually depending on social distancing guidelines), to donating online to work schemes or getting involved with organised events. Every cent raised really helps because every sick child deserves every chance.
Please donate to CMRF Crumlin to support vital ongoing care and treatment of our little patients.
