In our experience buggies are rarely welcome anywhere. Some places will take buggies from you at the door, others will quite simply refuse you entry.  So when possible if dining out with a young baby bring the car-seat and with an older baby or toddler you will find high chairs / booster seats in any child friendly eatery.  Here’s what we think makes a restaurant child-friendly.

Esquires

Esquires at West Street in Downtown Drogheda has great coffee, wifi and very friendly staff. For the adults, they have complimentary daily newspapers, and there is also an outdoor covered section for when the weather is nice. As well as coffee, they have fresh fruit smoothies, milkshakes and iced drinks. They have a junior menu for children under 12 and a kids meal deal.
