Boda Borg – Roscommon
Age Suitability – 7+
Based at Lough Key Forest Park, Boda Borg offers a series of rooms that you and your team-mates have to puzzle your way out of in order to escape. In total there are approximately 50 rooms to work through. As no instructions are given, you will have to use logic, problem solving skills, team-work and trial and error to complete as many rooms as you can.
Boda Borg is suitable for families and groups of friends aged 7+. Teams should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people. You have a 2 hour time slot to get through as many quests as you can.
Asylroom – Galway & Limerick
Asylroom Galway
Age Suitability – All ages U12 need adult supervision and guidance
Here you have a choice of 4 themed escape rooms. Teams are of 2 to 6 people, although the Da Vinci Code Room can hold up to 8 people. The rooms are suitable for all ages and can be booked for birthday parties, hen & stag parties, corporate events or just getting together with a group of friends for a fun adventure. You have 60 minutes to work through the clues provided and escape from the room of your choice.
- Sherlocked– Sherlock Holmes has been kidnapped. He solved the case he was working on before being taken but you will have to follow clues to see if you can find out what he discovered before the kidnappers return.
- Da Vinci Code – You have been hired to steal Leonardo Da Vinci’s Book of the Dead which has been hidden in a converted manor. You get locked in and have to work out how to get back before the owner returns.
- Se7En Sins – Seven sins, seven victims and it is up to you to find the murderer. This will lead you to your escape route.
- Chernobyl – You must disable a bomb and save the city and all it’s inhabitants in just 60 minutes.
Asylroom Limerick

At Asylroom Limerick you have a choice of 2 rooms to escape from. Teams are of 2 to 8 people. The rooms are suitable for all ages and can be booked for birthday parties, hen & stag parties, corporate events or just getting together with a group of friends for a fun adventure. You have 60 minutes to work through the clues provided and escape from the room of your choice.

Will you be able to locate the diamond and escape with it in 60 minutes or will you sink to the bottom of the ocean when the ship hits an iceberg?
- The Lost Commandants is where you and your team of 2 to 6 players are archaeologists who have stumbled upon a mysterious journal in a bookshop in Paris. Inside you find a map, through the Metro system to a hidden German bunker, abandoned during the war. Can you follow clues to solve puzzles and find out what the bunker was for?
- The Cell you and your teammates, 2 to 4 players, have been imprisoned after a bank robbery went awry. The cell where you are being kept, was once the home of Bob, another memeber of your gang. He had formulated an escape plan but can you and your team find the clues he left behind and escape the cell in 60 minutes?

Great Escape Rooms Galway
Age Suitability – 12+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
Great Escape Rooms Galway have several escape rooms on offer for teams of 2 up to 10.
- The Prison Break Room is suitable for 2 to 8 players. You must work together with your fellow inmates to escape from your prison room by solving plenty of clues to uncover the past crimes of some sketchy individuals so you can escape. You have 60 minutes to complete the challenge. Suitable for ages 12+
- The Auld Shebeen Room is a game for 2 to 9 players. The perfect games for families of all ages where you must discover the secret recipe left behind by Brendan Barney. You will need to uncover secrets, hints and find ingredients to complete the recipe before your 60 minutes are up.
- The Quarantine Room is a challenge for 2 to 10 players aged 15+. It is the most challanging escape room and you will have to use all your intelligence, creativity and wit to escape when you stumble into the Quarantine Room where an experiment has gone horribly wrong. You only have 60 minutes to solve the mystery and make your escape.
Mobile Escape Room Galway
Age Suitability – 10+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
In addition they have a Mobile Escape Room that can come to your venue. The mobile escape room is suitable for 2 to 8 players aged 10+. You and your team-mates will be trapped on a bus that had a bomb onboard. You will have to work together to disarm the bomb and escape the bus before it blows! You will only have 45 minutes to complete the task.
VR Escape Games
Age Suitability – 12+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
VR Escape Games are for 2 to 6 players and there are currently 2 escape scenarios for you to play:
- Cosmos takes place on a space station. Players must work together to complete repairs, fight off hostile robots and even use telekinesis. Players are transported using VR headsets and will experience flight without gravity, shoot outs and more.
- Mind Horror is where you are transported into the mind Silentman a psychopathic kidnapper who is currently in a coma as his latest victim lies helpless in his hideaway. You and your teammates must work together and use the access to his mind to become detectives and save the kidnapped child in just 60 minutes. You will experience flying in the sky, shooting fireballs, riding a rollercoaster in the dark and swimming in the abyss.

AdventureRooms – Dublin
Age Suitability – 11+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
AdventureRooms Dublin offer escape rooms for teams of 2 to 50 people. All games are suitable for ages 11+ (U16 must be accompanied by an adult) and can be played in Classic or Dual format. The classic games are played out in 60 minutes and the Dual games are played as 2 x 30 minute rounds. Find out if you can escape more quickly than your rivals for an added dimension of adrenaline fuelled fun. Adventure Rooms have 2 Dublin sites, Little Britain Street and Green Street and each site has 2 Escape Room formats
- Original Swiss is available to play at both sites. It was the original escape room game for Adventure rooms and participants have a 30 – 35% escape rate! It was designed by a Swiss professor and his students and can be played by 2 to 14 players depending on the format and site you choose.
- Black Queen is available to play at Little Britain Street. It can be played by 3 to 14 players, depending on the format you choose. You must solve a series of puzzles to escape from the Black Queen’s Lair before time runs out.
- World Trip is available to play at Green Street. It can be played by 4 to 14 players, depending on the format you choose. It is the most challenging game on offer with a 20% escape rate. You are heading off on a world trip but before you go you must solve puzzles to bring you to your destination where there may be treasure to bring back!

Celtic Escape Rooms – Athlone
Age Suitability – 5+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
Celtic Escape Rooms offer games for children & adults from aged 5 years. Groups of up to 20 can be accommodated with 10 in each room. They currently have 2 games on offer:
- Mad As A Hatter – follow Alice down the rabbit hole to find yourself in a strange world with crazy characters which you will have to puzzle you way out of before the queen shouts “Off with their heads!” You only have 60 minutes to escape.
- Santa’s List – You have found out that Santa has added you to his naughty list. Can you follow clues and make it to the North Pole, find the list and remove yourself before you get caught by Santa’s Elves? You have 60 minutes to complete the challenge or you’ll stay on the naughty list for Christmas!

XIT – Dublin Escape Rooms

XIT offered the first ever escape rooms in Dublin. The escape rooms games require teamwork & brainwork along with some easy physical skills. The games are suitable for groups of friends and families and games can be played in teams of 2 to 8 people, depending on the game you choose. There are currently 5 escape room games to choose from:
- The Year of the Zombies is suitable for players aged 16+. Your mission is to explore a laboratory to try and find an antidote for a vaccine that is turning humans into Zombies. But you must be quick as the Zombies have just invaded Ireland, the last remaining outpost which up until now has escaped the deadly threat!
- Haunted Park is suitable for players aged 12+. A former biology professor is said to be haunting the park and the only why to stop him is to find and unlock his bicycle. Can you save the park from being haunted forever?
- Jail Break is suitable for players aged 12+. You have been locked up in a prison cell from which you must escape. Can you beat the clock and get out in 60 minutes?
- The Curse of the Mummy is suitable for players aged 14+. Can you decipher the mysterious ancient mysteries to escape the crypt of will you perish like those before you?

The Great Escape – Waterford

Following a briefing session you’ll be locked into a themed room. You and your team-mates must work together to find and solve clues, keys, combinations and much more. The games are suitable for all ages, however children under 14 years may find them challenging. Groups of U16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Each room holds teams of between 2 and 7 players and games last 60 minutes. There are currently 4 escape rooms to choose from:
- Cludeo – you and your team must work together to catch a killer before he can kill again!
- Prison Break – you must find out how a prisoner has escaped from prison and catch them before it’s too late.
- House of Mystery – a renowned magician has been charged with crimes of swindle and trickery. You must find the proof to convict him but avoid his traps along the way.
- Madness Or A Brilliant Mind? – this escape room is for all those who love maths! A brilliant scientist has died before completing a formula that will change our understanding of maths. You must figure how how to finish it!

Escape – Dublin
Age Suitability – 10+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
Escape Dublin currently has 4 escape rooms on offer and each one is designed for teams of 2 to 5 people but they can accommodate teams of up to 20 people. There is no restriction on age, although U10’s may struggle with the problem solving. U16’s must be accompanied by an adult. The 4 games are:
- Espionage is set in a regular apartment in Dublin but all is not what it seems. You must locate data obtained by a journalist to locate and break into a safe where you will find the key to your freedom.
- EMCU Trials offers 2 teams to pit themselves against each other in identical rooms with identical challenges to see who will escape first and become a member of EMCU – Escape Mysterious Crimes Unit!
- The Da Vinci Room challenges your team to steal the Holy Grail so that it can be displayed for all to see and not remain hidden away in Dr John Albright’s home. Easier said than done!
Bolt Escape Games – Dublin
Age Suitability – All ages U12 need adult supervision and guidance
Bolt Escape Games currently have 2 escape rooms on offer for the high flyers they have the Casino Room and for sports fans they have Dressing Room Drama. The games are designed to be played by teams of 2 to 14 people. There is no lower age limit but he organisers feel that players should be 12 years+ to get the most out of the escape rooms.
- Casino Room – you and your teammates must puzzle your way past dealers and pit bosses to get to the gold bars and pull of the heist of the century!
- Dressing Room Drama – with the big final only hours away you and your teammates must infiltrate the oppositions dressing room and discover who their injured player is to give you the advantage in the big match.
Escape Boats – Dublin
Age Suitability – 12+ (U18 accompanied by and adult)
A twist on the escape rooms theme Escape Boats as the name suggests, take place on a boat moored on the Grand Canal in Dublin. This nautical themed escape game is suitable for teams of 2 to 6 players and you must work together to uncover the mysteries of the Zorg Ella and escape the perils within.
Exit Escape Rooms – Athlone
Age Suitability – 10+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
Exit Escape Rooms Athlone have 3 escape rooms suitable for different age groups from families with younger children up to adults. Each room can hold teams of 2 to 6 players.
- Clown Prince of Crime – this escape room is good for families and beginners. It is based on comic books and the aim of the game is to escape the room before the joker comes back.
- New World Order – in this game players aged 16+ must find and disarm a bomb before the time runs out.
- Red Room – this room has witnessed a terrible crime. Players must be 18+ to solve the mystery and find the killer.
GoQuest – Dublin
Age Suitability – 10+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
With 28 unique challenge rooms GoQuest indoor challenge zone is the perfect escape room venue for older kids, teens and adults. With fully automated scoring, the rooms offer a mix of light physical skill, mental challenges and an opportunity for families, friends and teams to work together to complete as many rooms as possible. Teams are between 3 and 5 people and you have 90 minutes to escape from as many rooms as possible.
Escape Rooms at The Old Courthouse Lifford – Donegal
Age Suitability – 8+ (U16 accompanied by and adult)
The Old Courthouse in Lifford offer a truly authentic escape room experience as you and your team-mates are escape from real dungeon cells. They currently have 2 escape games on offer but do run seasonal escape games too.
- Junior Jailbreak – the perfect party adventure for family activity for kids aged 8+. The junior convicts are locked in their cell after committing a heinous crime! They must work together as a team to escape their cell and get to the party! The game lasts 30 minutes.
- Jailbreak – you and your team-mates are held in real dungeon cells and have been sentenced to death for a crime you didn’t commit. You have just 60 minutes to solve clues and puzzle your way out of the cell. Can you do it in time?
- The Heist – you and your team have been hired to break into the offices of a newspaper editor to retrieve information about a secretive millionaire before the information is printed. You only have 60 minutes and must avoid the night security guard along the way!
The games are suitable for ages 12+ and groups of more than 6 players can pit their skills against each other to see who can complete your chosen challenge first! Groups aged U16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Incognito Escape Rooms – Dublin
Age Suitability – 14+
Incognito currently offer 2 escape rooms that are suitable for ages 14+. The Baker Street Escape Room holds up to 8 participants and The Cabin in the Woods can hold 10 participants.
- Baker Street Mystery – you and your team are challenged to solve a murder mystery and break up the notorious Baker Street Five Gang all in just 60 minutes. You’ll have to work together to decipher clues to the their identity to triumph.
- The Cabin in the Woods – a serial killer is on the lose and you and your team-mates have discovered his lair where he is holding his next victim. Just when you think you have rescued the victim, you realise the killer has set a trap and you are now locked into his cabin in the woods. Can you escape before it is too late?
