Woodstown beach runs for miles along the Western shore of Waterford. It is a great place for swimming when the tide is in, making it the perfect day trip for families when the weather is nice. It is also popular for long walks, picnics and it is rich in sea shells, which are great for the kids to collect or to use for decorating sand castles. Parking is also available.
