In no particular order, here are our recommendations of great places to play mini golf and pitch and putt in Ireland. Prices are all correct at the time of publication, but do check before you travel for up-to-date pricing and opening hours.
Nore Valley Park, Kilkenny
All ages and abilities are invited to test their golfing skills on the 18 hole crazy mini golf course at Nore Valley Park. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the working farm while you golf along a course of different length and par holes.
Family discount rates are available and afterwards you can enjoy all that Nore Valley Park has to offer.
Rainforest Adventure Golf, Dublin
Located in Dundrum TownCentre, Rainforest Golf has two indoor courses for young and old to enjoy. Both the Aztec and Mayan themed 18 hole courses take approximately 45 minutes to play. On-site they also have a café serving pizza, wings and sweet treats as well as a mini arcade.
A family pass to complete one of the two themed courses costs €30 for a family of two adults and two children.

Golf Centre, Down
The outdoor Golf Centre situated in Newcastle, Co Down includes a golf driving range and an 18 hole adventure golf course.
Situated beside Burrendale Hotel they hold a ‘happy hour’ midweek between 12pm – 2pm and 5pm – 6pm. Prices start at £4.

Pirates Adventure, Waterford
Become the (mini) golf master as you make your way around the Pirates Adventure 9-hole crazy golf course in Tramore. You will have to overcome many wacky attractions including; pirate themed props and obstacles, an indoor waterfall and Ireland’s first Glow in the Dark mini golf course!
Not only do they have mini golf but for €8.95 per child, they will also get time in the soft play, a game of bowling and get to ride motorbikes! Bargain if you ask me.

Leisureland, Galway
Leisureland is located on the seafront in Salthill, Galway. On-site, they have an outdoor mini crazy golf course and an indoor kiddies leisure pool complete with interactive water features, a large slide and a floating obstacle course for older children (select swim sessions only). Golf clubs and balls can be hired from reception.
During Summer months there is a fun-fair situated next to the facility making for a fun day out for all the family.

Smugglers Cove, Cork
Located in Rosscarbery, West Cork, Smugglers Cove boasts an 18 hole adventure golf course and range. Rafts, pirates, smugglers cannons, treasure chests and old oak barrels can be found as you make your way around the course. Each hole offers golfers a choice of an easy route or a more difficult route which makes this course perfect for more experienced golfers too.
Smugglers Cove is only open Saturday and Sundays during the year but opens daily during midterms and school holidays, weather permitting. Golf and maze tickets are priced at €8 per child.

Jump 4 Joy Adventure Centre, Athlone
Located in Monksland, Athlone, Jump 4 Joy has an array of facilities for children. On-site, you will find go-karts, bungee trampolines, an inflatable adventure island, mega slides and crazy golf of course.
Jump 4 Joy opens daily, prices vary from €6.50 – €8.50 and activities including crazy golf are suitable for children up to the age of 12.

Indoor Mini Golf, Kildare
Fun for all the family Cole Golf Indoor Mini Golf in Naas is Ireland’s first 18 hole indoor crazy golf course. Featuring a spectacular cascading waterfall, numerous challenges and an array of greenery it promises to be an entertaining day.
Each admission includes two rounds of crazy golf priced at €5.85 for children when booked online in advance. And they also cater for birthday parties.

Dingle Pitch & Putt and Fungie’s Crazy Golf, Kerry
Located just outside the town of Dingle in Co. Kerry, this 18 hole mini golf course offers a perfect afternoon of golf for all members of the family. Clubs and balls can be hired and for those looking for a shorter course, you can check out Fungie’s Crazy Golf.
They have also launched a soccer golf course which sounds like an interesting mix!

Crazy Golf at Bundoran Adventure Park, Donegal
Make your way around Treasure Island Adventure Parks mini-golf course over the bridges and down by the waterfalls.
When you have finished honing your putting skills the Adventure Park has loads of attractions for the kiddies from bumper boats, go-karting, water walkers, roller coaster rides and more.

Sandfield Pitch and Putt, Donegal
Just outside Ardara on the way to Portnoo, you will find Sandfield Pitch & Putt. 18 holes of fun with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Open summer months from 11.30am to 7.30pm. The course is very well maintained and this is a great way to while away a few hours with the family. I have to admit, I am not a golfer but I did get a hole in one at this course! Great achievement until you learn that it took me 16 shots to get the ball into the following hole!

Taylors Hill Pitch & Putt Club, Galway
A Galway institution, the Taylors Hill Pitch and Putt club is a 9 hole course situated near the Ardilaun Hotel on Taylors Hill. The course is very well maintained and is open until sunset during summer months. Guaranteed family fun!

Kildare Farm Foods Indian Creek, Kildare
See who is the Best Shot in the West at the indoor Indian Creek Crazy Golf experience at Kildare Farm foods. 18 holes surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Wild West!
Children play for €5, Adults €7 or get a 4 ball deal for €20.
Pirates Cove, Wexford
Located in Courtown, Wexford, Pirates Cove is an indoor and outdoor adventure park. With a host of attractions including crazy golf, bowling, bumper boats, go karts and bubble rollers it’s bound to be a great day out.
Pirates Cove crazy golf is located outside and as you would expect has a pirate theme including a boat over water.

Disc Golf, Galway
Disc Golf can be played at Eilemental Galway and is described at 9 holes of fun through heathers, around trees and rocks and over drains!
Each ‘golfer’ is given a bag of weighted discs, called after golf clubs, and the object of the game is to play from a tee and shot your disc into the hole, which is actually a basket, in as few shots as possible. You keep score on a score card, just like a regular game of gold. This experience is for ages 10+.
Now that really does sound like crazy golf to me!
