At Douglas Playground you’ll find a zipline, climbing frames, swings and slides. The playpark is enclosed with a fence, and surrounded by green space for a run about afterwards.

Farran Forest Park Playground

There is a fun playground at Farran Forest Park with swings, slides and bouncers. Afterwards you can enjoy The Enclosure Trail (1.1km) that takes you around the perimeter of the deer enclosure and duck pond.

Ashley recommended Fitzgerald Park in Cork, she says, “The playground is phenomenal. Lots of sensory things and a huge wooden castle structure with ladders, bridges and slides. Its location is beautiful and the park has a cafe. Perfect for families.”

Glenbower Playground and Woods

Located at the entrance of Glenbower Woods, the Glenbower Playground is best for smaller kids (under 7) with swings, seesaws and small slides. The woods are also fun to explore and include a fairy trail.

Kanturk Playground, Cork

“Kanturk has a great playground with Springers, Agility Equipment, Playhouses, Swings, Roundabouts, Sculptures, Sand & Water Play and Multi-Play Units”, says Dad Nigel.

Kinsale Playground

Kinsale Playground, located in the middle of Kinsale, has plenty of fun play equipment such as slides, climbing frames and swings.

Schull Playground

Schull Playground overlooks the harbour so you can enjoy the views while kids enjoy playing on the equipment which includes a whale, helicopter, windsurfer springer, swings and a slide. Plenty of parking nearby.

Skibbereen Playground

You’ll find swings, slides, seesaws and climbing frames at Skibbereen Playground along with green areas perfect for running around. There is plenty of parking nearby.
