When outdoor activities just don’t appeal to you, let the cinema be your warm, comfy haven.
- The Omniplex, Tralee and Killarney will have you spoilt for choice with multiple screens and a large variety of food to munch through the film.
- Cinema Killarney has family ticket deals and a Kids Club.
Or why not let your living room become the cinema? Nominate someone to load the DVD, to collect the tickets and to be a food vendor. Then once you have been directed to your couch, sit back and enjoy the show! But don’t forget the all important “shush!!!”

Go Swimming!

Put on the raingear and wellies and go for a walk in the rain. Most kids love splashing in puddles, and sometimes it’s a great way to release pent-up energy from being cooped up inside. Here’s our Top 10 Things to do Outside in Rain for some ideas!
Warm up afterwards with a hot bath/shower, dry clothes and hot chocolate. Then, why not pull out a board-game or snuggle up on the couch with a movie – a perfect end to a wet day!
