Mitchell Curley Park Playground
Mitchell Curley Park is located on the urban fringe of Sligo City on the Ballydoogan road west of the city centre. Drive approximately 300 metres past St Marys GAA club with the entrance on the North side of the Ballydoogan road.
The children’s playground has a fully fenced toddler play area with a separate play area for older kids. You’ll find climbing frames, swings and slides. There are benches for parents.
As well as the playground, you can enjoy the park and walking trail.
Doorly Park Playground
Across from Cleveragh Road Retail Park is the Doorly Park Playground which includes a diverse range of play equipment including an interactive technology zone and extensive climbing equipment and nets, as well as swings.
Mum Karen recommended the playground and says it is suitable for younger children and teens.
Enniscrone Playground
Located right beside the beach, Enniscrone Playground is fully fenced in and contains the usual equipment such as swings, slides and climbing frames. There are seats for parents.
Sooey Playground
For something a bit unusual, head to Sooey playground which isn’t on the flat but instead uses the slopes around as a play area. You’ll find equipment such as swings, slide, bike merry-go-round and other multi-play items. You can enjoy a picnic at the picnic area with benches.
Pairc Cairde Playground in Tubbercurry
Located in Pairc Cairde opened in 2018 and is kept going by local residents. As well as swingts, slide and climbing equipment, there are hills to run around in and tunnels to crawl through.
