LEGO is such a fun thing to play with at home, but going to a LEGO store is an amazing experience! Where else would you find wall-to-wall LEGO sets, pick-and-mix bricks in every colour and size you could imagine, an opportunity to create and build your own minifigures, and lots more. So, with five new LEGO stores opening in the UK, the Netherlands and France by the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to visit!

My daughter is mad about LEGO, and we’ve visited a few LEGO stores over the years. While you will definitely want to set a budget before you go in and (very easily) get carried away, it really is a hive of activity, excitement and creativity. Just seeing the huge LEGO creations used to decorate the stores is worth a visit in itself – from popular characters to iconic landmarks, the sheer skill is incredible!
Make sure to pop in and experience the new LEGO stores if you’re visiting Birmingham, Southampton, Amsterdam, Utrecht or Marseille.

LEGO brick fans in the UK are in for a treat as The LEGO Group will open two new stores in Birmingham’s Bull Ring and Southampton West Quay Shopping Centre – and in time for the Christmas season.
What Can You Expect?
These new LEGO stores will have a huge selection of the latest LEGO sets and a whole host of exciting play experiences, activities and events to enjoy in-store, including:
- Brick Specialists on hand to help you find the perfect LEGO set
- Pick & Build Wall where you can choose the bricks and elements you want in all different shapes and colours. Grab a cup and fill it up with whatever pieces you choose – it’s the perfect pick-n-mix!
- Digital Box where you can scan almost any boxed LEGO set and see the model come to life in 3D! There’s no better way to test drive a set than seeing the finished product right before your eyes.
- Hands-on play opportunities, including free build challenges and events each month
- Mix and match from a wide selection of bottoms, tops, heads, hair pieces and accessories to customize your own minifigures at the Build a Minifigure Tower.
