As we head back to school, we wanted to share some useful resources for parents. Obviously it’s an unprecedented year, and things have changed dramatically. So any advice and tips are to be welcomed. Covid 19 World Service Videos for Parents
The Covid 19 World Service is a joint initiative of Nasc and Together Ireland, they have created public health videos voiced by doctors in over 30 languages, for parents of children returning to school in August/September 2020.
These videos were voiced by education professionals including teachers and SNAs working in Ireland and the messaging has been approved by the Irish College of GPs.

The Irish Government Advice on Back to School
On the Gov.ie website you will find videos for junior infants to second class, 3rd to 6th class and also post-primary students. There is also information covering:

Information for Parents in USA
This article on NBC News has useful advice. They recommend that you check your county at covidactnow.org, a website that monitors community transmission and offers a warning system categorizing areas from low to high rates of infection, known as green, yellow or red zone.
There are also information resources in different media outlets such as The New York Times which breaks down hot spots across the United States.
The Center for Disease Control has information for schools for reopening that they keep updated.
