One of South Dublin County’s cultural highlights, The Round Tower Clondalkin (www.theroundtower.ie) is one of only four remaining round towers in County Dublin. Find out why this free family visitor attraction makes for an engaging day out.
The visitor centre provides the perfect FREE family day out, as it brings the story of The Round Tower Clondalkin and the surrounding area to life through an exciting interactive experience. The fun and educational exhibition can be enjoyed through eight distinctive themed spaces in the refurbished 19th century Mill Cottages.
Suitable for all ages, The Round Tower Clondalkin experience incorporates public gardens, an exhibition and gallery space and an onsite café where tasty healthy food meets famously friendly service. Dine indoors or outdoors during the warmer months, where the scenic café gardens are in full view.
What’s more, The Round Tower Clondalkin is located close to Corkagh Park, the Grand Canal Greenway and Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Centre, which combined together add to a different, free visitor experience, away from the city centre and close to the natural outdoors of Dublin.
