Did you know that 1 in 4 children in Ireland today has some form of special educational need?
This means that there are around 420,000 children around the country who have additional needs including children with Autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and many other developmental delays.
Identifying and treating these needs at a young age will allow a child to truly realise their potential – which is where Sensational Kids comes in!
How Sensational Kids Helps Kids with Developmental Delays
Sensational Kids is an award-winning non-profit organisation that has already changed the lives of over 8,700 children, saving their families over €2 million in therapy fees.
The charity provides vital front-line therapeutic support for children of all abilities, ensuring that these children in need have access to vital supports when and where they need them.
Access to Affordable Intervention Services
With 70,000 children currently on waiting lists for speech and occupational therapies, the services Sensational Kids offers are a lifeline for families whose children would otherwise be waiting up to three to four years to get access to services, losing the opportunity for timely intervention and better outcomes for their children.
Sensational Kids operates four Child Development Centres across Ireland in:
Each centre provides accessible and timely intervention services, such as occupational therapy and speech & language therapy.

How Sensational Kids Raise Funds
Fundraising and earned income from Sensational Kids’ Play, Develop and Learn Store and training workshops help to subsidise the therapy services they offer, so that the organisation can grow its impact and help as many children as possible reach their full potential.
