The Nameberry baby names 2018 popularity list is a tally of the most visited of their baby name pages throughout the year. Rather than tracking the names actually given to babies, it registers which baby names are attracting the most interest from expectant parents right now — which may translate to popular usage over the coming years.
For girls, the number one spot hasn’t changed and Olivia reigns yet again for the third consecutive year. For boys, Atticus has taken the lead, while last year’s top name Harvey has dropped out of the top 100 completely.
Overall, the names are a mix of the perennial favourites (Emma, George, Daniel, Grace) with vintage gems (Clementine, Clara, Arthur, Miles) and modern choices (Bodhi, Luna, Wren, Kai). Take a look below and let us know your favourite!
