We love seeing which baby names are popular with new parents each year and this year’s BabyCenter list of top boy and girl names so far this year is out, the names are based on BabyCenter parents submitting the names they have chosen for their new baby.
Emma is still the favourite with parents of baby girls – it has continued to hover around the top position for the last few years, followed closely by Olivia and Ava. Mia and Charlotte have swapped places while Mila has made the top 10 list this year.
For boys, the top 10 names stay the same, just the order differs from last year. Liam continues to hold the #1 position, with Noah remaining in #2 and Oliver hopping back to #3 spot. And James continues to be a popular choice for new boys staying firmly on the top 10 list.
