Way Marked Walking Trails
If you would prefer to stay on solid ground, Lough Key Forest & Activity Park has walking trails to suit all abilities and ages. Trails are graded from multi access, easy, moderate to strenuous and the length of each trail is given too.
Serious walkers are well catered for, with Way Marked trails and the Miners Way Historical trail running through the parklands. These are usually longer in distance and can be undertaken over several visits.

Orienteering & Wheel O-Trails
Brush up on your navigation skills and exercise your body and your mind on one of the Orienteering routes at Lough Key Forest & Activity Park. In addition to 3 permanent courses, there are other options available to download and discover.
For buggies and wheelchair users, there are 4 new Wheel-O routes ensuring that no matter your age or ability you can take part in this fun activity.

Exercise Gym & MUGA
Pack a ball for your next visit to Lough Key Forest & Activity Park and you can enjoy the multi-use games area (MUGA). It is a large pitch with artificial grass and is free to use. There are basketball hoops and goal posts, so whatever ball sport you enjoy, you can challenge your friends or family here.
If the gym is more your thing, there is plenty of outdoor gym equipment located on a loop route near the visitor centre. The equipment includes weight machines, a step master and bars and all the equipment is free to use.
