Visitor Centre & Lakeside Cafe

Cafe at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park


A Lakeside Visitor Centre is the gateway to more than 800 acres of parkland and forest at Lough Key. Its contemporary design showcases timber frame construction from renewable sources while embracing the landscape it sits in.

Enjoy the stunning views over Lough Key and Castle Island from indoors or from the outdoor deck area. Daily offering of home baked buns and cakes with a Puro Fair-trade Coffee, are all made on site. The cafe also specializes in Baguettes, Bagels, Wraps, a Hot Dish of the Day and signature Pizzas.

Caravan & Camping Park

The Caravan and Camping Park, is open from Easter to September every year. It has 51 landscaped, secluded pitches with newly appointed electricity points and three large areas for Tent space.

There is a recreational block with an indoor space for games or dining. The building has a newly renovated shower block with bathrooms and a small cooking area and also includes a Laundry room. Find out more…
