Based on applications for social security numbers, these are the most popular boy and girl names in America in 2017.
Top 10 Girls Names 2017
- Emma
- Olivia
- Ava
- Isabella
- Sophia
- Mia
- Charlotte
- Amelia
- Evelyn
- Abigail
Top 10 Boys Names 2017
- Liam
- Noah
- William
- James
- Logan
- Benjamin
- Mason
- Elijah
- Oliver
- Jacob
Liam and Noah have swapped places on the boys top ten list while Logan makes a jump into number 5 and Oliver appears at number 9.
Emma and Olivia remain #1 and #2 as in 2016 and 2015, while Sophia and Isabella swap places. Amelia and Evelyn appear in the top 10 at numbers 8 and 9 respectively.
