The US Social Security Administration has revealed the most popular baby names in USA for 2018. Emma and Liam were the most popular names – is your child’s name on the list?

Based on applications for social security numbers, these are the most popular boy and girl names in America in 2018.

There’s no change since 2017 for the top 5 girls names, which are Emma, Olivia, Ava, Isabella and Sophia. Harper enters the top 10 for the first time.

For boys, the top 4 stay the same with Liam, Noah, William and James topping the boys list. Lucas joins the top 10 boys name list for the first time with Jacob dropping out of the top ten.
